Chandra, Rohini and Daksha
The first story associated with this planet is of its Lord Chandra and his wife, Rohini. Chandra got married to all of Daksha’s 27 daughters. Daksha agreed to marry them to Chandra on one condition that he would treat them all equally without any partiality. Chandra agreed to do so, and Daksha, thus, agreed for the marriage to be conducted. However, once married, after some time, Chandra started to get partial with the sisters.
